Hospice care supports the whole person—not just physical comfort, but emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being as well. Our counseling services are here to help patients and families feel supported, heard, and cared for during this time.
Patients may experience many emotions, such as fear, sadness, anxiety, or worry about loved ones. Our counselors provide a safe, compassionate space to talk openly, process feelings, and find comfort and peace. Support may include mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, and help working through relationship changes, family concerns, or unresolved conflicts.
Families and caregivers are also supported. Counseling can help with communication, stress, caregiver fatigue, anticipatory grief, and coping with the changes that come with serious illness. Marriage and family therapists are available to help strengthen relationships, improve understanding, and support families as they navigate this journey together.
